Bunker fuel banned in Vessels sailing into California ports
New regulations to reduce pollution emissions from oceangoing ships in California have banned the usage of Bunker fuel, a dirty, heavy crude oil that has the consistency of asphalt and must be heated aboard the ships to power the engines.
