Saudi Arabian Oil Co. to Re-open Dammam Field

Thursday February 16, 2012, 2:06pm PDT

Bloomberg reported that Saudi Arabian Oil Co. intends to re-open the Gulf kingdom’s oldest oil field, the Dammam field.

As quoted in the market news:

Dammam contains some 500 million barrels of oil and may yield as much as 100,000 barrels a day of Arabian Heavy crude, according to the report.
