Husky Energy Inc. (TSX:HSE) announced today the company will construct an energy efficient office building adjacent to its existing main office building in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan to serve its expanding regional operations.

The news release is quoted as saying:

The Lloydminster area of Alberta and Saskatchewan is a core area for Husky. The Company's heavy oil assets are concentrated in a large producing region covering more than 8,000 square kilometres. Today, Husky is a significant employer in the area and has various infrastructure, production and exploration in the area, including a heavy oil upgrader, a co-generation power plant, an ethanol plant, a logistics centre and pipelines.
